The Gîte Sant Venter is located near the Lac de Guerlédan (Lake of Guerlédan), one of the prettiest parts of central Brittany.
This splendid lake, with its small sandy beaches and its watersport activities, is 6 miles long.

The north coast of Brittany is well known as "la côte de granite rose" (the rose freestone coast) with its pituresque fishing-villages. This coast has something magical. Not only because of her obvious colour but also because of the shapes of the rock formations of freestone.

In the south of Brittany are the towns of Quimper, Lorient and Vannes. Vannes is an historical city that is renowned for its ancient defensive walls and formal gardens, which are located immediately beneath them. In the immediate area, you can also discover the cathedral of St. Pierre and le Golfe du Morbihan with its enchanting small islands.
While further a field, is the fishing port of Concarneau, the alignement of the prehistoric stones at Carnac and many miles of sandy beaches.
